What's wrong with TCS HR? No empathy or anything 🤬

Recently my father met with a road accident which is very serious and seriously injured now he requires continuous medication, care and frequent doctor checkups, I've asked my HR for WFH for 1 month to take care of my father for his needs. but she is saying please connect with your manager for any short term exception and utilize my leaves, what should I do? Can I escalate this issue with any other person?please suggest your opinion !

Bro its simple, Priority should be father. I am surprised that you even checked with company. I would have gone to home to stay with irrespective of maximum QVA loss. We have entire life behind us to earn money but Father/Mother only one.

Buddy, ask your manager to approve it. It’s the process and that should be followed. HR is okay if your manager approves as at the end your efforts are noticed by manger and not Hr.

Short term WFH within 30 days does not need hr approval. It will go to the manager queue only.

If they don't approve, take a release from the project for the time being.

Taking release is risky ...in bench 5 days need to visit ..if not visit they pay stop and access will be revoked

Don't take release, speak with your supervisor & mail him your concerns. Supervisor decides HR approves. This is workflow

Just apply wfo exception and submit medical documents.

In TCS HR only plays the dummy role. Let me tell have a word with your Delivery Head/Manager and apprise your concerns gently then take their approval over the mail. After that apply for WFH with Father’s medical reports in dependent care section.
Send the approval mail to HR mentioning FYi and necessary action, keep your delivery head in Cc.

Go step by step Connect with your Manager and get it approved
If its approved by Manager then HR won’t say anything

Hi, You can drop an email to Your manager and Hr with all the documents. Once your manager approves it's fine, there's an option called flexible work options you can select dependant care and submit this email as proof. It will be done. You need your manager on your side for this ❤️

Bro I am raising WFO exception for every month now Manager can approve your request no HR approval required. Just raise in the system it will go to manager not HR .
