What’s the longest you have served in the same company?

For people who have been in same company for more than 3 years, will you consider dropping a comment “regret” or “no regret” to help others make long term decisions?

Regretting. Not cuz of pay but cuz I didn't change within the company as well. In a highly comfortable zone and unable to switch easily now. 7 years btw. Should prioritize learning always is something I've realised now the hard way.

It is never too late. You were in your comfort zone because you had other priorities or you were just lazy. Learning and self development is a continuous process, but what is more important is to build good network with peers, subordinates and managers while working. Overtime your work can only take you as far as your network you have built IRL (not the LinkedIn one) all this while.

Current company no regret, previous companies I regret, though stayed for more than 3 years in most of them

Hota ye hai ki hum comfort zone mai atak jaate hai

13+ in very first company 4+ now and continuing in second.

Mixed bag in terms of regrets. Lots of learning in the 13 years. Compensation took a hit. But the learning helped with growth and easily adaptability in new role at second company, and going strong now.

Left TCS after serving 4 years. It was my first company. Now in accenture and I’m fine with it so far. The pay is good, not that much micromanaging compared to tcs project

You could have stayed at TCS for one more year and got Gratuity

No regret ...I always got onsite for all the companies I worked. Now I reach a phase where family is important so not talking any onsite and doing a challenging but peaceful role at offshore in current organisation.
