No, 18+ LPA is not unrealistic at all according to me. Yes this is the time to take the risk of getting indulged in a new environment with everything new, that's how you grow but yeah go to a good & reputed company so that job security is there

Depends on the city you belong. For tier 1 or 2, it'll be 15-20 at least you can ask. If it's tier 3 company then 8-12. Keep this formula in your mind: experience of years * 3 for average case package, years * 4 for good and years * 5 for best case package.
