What’s the best way to get into Google?

I recently applied for a role via employee referral. I’m from a Tier-1 college and working at one of biggest fintech in the country. Though I felt my profile was perfect for the job role, I got the update of “not proceeding”. So, what’s the ideal way to crack a job at Google?
