Connect with phone and tell you what... amount of rain it saved you from....why do we want to include tech in every product and complicate it...keep things simple bro...and if you really really want to spend some more than required money on buying umbrella then donate some umbrella.....not targeting you individually just the thinking that we need to change...

I have a genuine techbro answer to this.

Few years ago a friend of mine working at Teradata showed me an umbrella the company gave him. As corporate "swag" and what not. Had the company colors and logo and everything.

My word, the finest umbrella I've seen till date. Robust build quality. Had a plastic cover on it to put on when you're indoors and don't have space or time to dry it out.

I've been looking for that again but it's not possible to find.

A truly white whale of an umbrella.

I use one of those upside down umbrellas (check amazon to see what I mean). They open in a way that is more convenient to get in and our of cars without getting wet. Plus when closed, the wet part is enclosed inside.
