What's notice Period if released

My current situation, onboarded and joined a new project. Haven't yet been involved in any actual work, and there are no dependencies on me yet. I'm planning to resign in few days, so what happens next. If I'm released from project will I be serving 90 days or out in one month. Also during notice period, if I don't have approved exception, don't care about variable deduction and simply do not work from office, what are the consequences.
