Whats' made this stupid govt. to propose 12 hrs work day?

I was recently reading this news and realized how badly it will impact the health and lives of individuals , i am pretty sure that 30-40% people usually have some form of neckpain and backpain and with a proposal like this, it will detetoriate the social life and healthy way of living for individuals.

If they are really expecting the employees in IT/BPO/ITES sector to work 12 hrs then they should hire more employees instead , india is already having most no. of employees waiting for opportunities , give them a chance. Hire them, train them, increase the workforce.

And if this shit govt. is really expecting for 12 hrs a day then also introduce 4 week-days work culture and 3 days a week off...
