What's it you hate about SDETs

Today, I was reading a series of posts where there was a lot of negative talk about the SDET role compared to SDE. One comment even went so far as to say it's like comparing IITs to local TIITs. What makes SDETs worth less, and why do people have a mindset that they are nothing more than losers?
