What’s happening with FamPay right now?
Was looking them up as they were a product I thought had a lot of scope. But off late when I thought of them, couldn’t find any news or updates about what the team is upto? What is happening with the product? What’s up with the rebrand?
I always thought it as a stupid product
Why? The product makes so much sense from a long term horizon.
Target audience was non decision maker, teens and the amount of transactions would be limited and people giving the autonomy to transact was only upper middle or rich and most of them operate on cash as they have lots of black and unaccounted money.
Afaik they were having money problems + had no business model. People in top posts mostly resigned and left and moslty lower/mid level employees stayed (and silent layoffs ofc)
Niche market they're in GMV wise compared to other fintechs. They can always introduce other products for different revenue streams.
