Every other person I see on Linkedin/Fb is joining Google. Can anyone from inside shed some light here? How's the work culture and quality of life?
Reminded me of the good old days when everyone was joining Amazon.
Google is on a hiring spree. But they have reduced their compensation and are also lowballing massively.
Google, Amazon etc are famous for low balling as they know it's a prestige symbol to work there and people are ready to work for less
Can you spread more light on it? I’ve my 3rd onsite on 25th sept. Offers on leetcode seem to be above 80L for first year with 35L fixed

Google has reduced its hiring criteria dramatically from past 2 years. They just want someone who can clear their basic rounds and ready to join at low hikes. Attrition increased as well so just to balance the cost
