What's an Assam Teak wood used to make bed

Hello when I visit local furniture shops to purchase a solid wood bed then they often say it's made of Assam Teak wood. Now the price which they quote is usually very cheap around Rs 10k for a queen size bed without storage. When I ask for real Teak wood then it's in the range of Rs 30 to 40k. Has anyone any idea on this wood?
