What’s a very good base salary after 20 yoe?

Curious to know as to what folks here think!!!

Is Base salary of 1 CR after 20 years a “very good” salary?

Of course bonus and variable pay and RSU / ESOPs on top of that. Initially salaries can be higher, but can it sustain? Tired of hearing bloated up numbers including ESOPs of unlisted companies which might or might not reach IPO. Interested to know what grapevine thinks…

It all depends on the company. In FAANG-like companies, a 1 crore base is possible at 8-9 years of experience.

Sure. But q is does everyone at FAANG/MAANG get to 1 cr base in 9 years. Also after 20 yoe, does everyone get so much there? In Development/ Data Science / PM is what I was wondering. I am talking just base here

I would say 75-80 lakhs base is good salary, & 1 Cr base is definitely very good. On top of that, adding RSU/ESOP will take total TC to 1.2 Cr - 1.5 Cr
