What's a good / cheap place to rent in Bangalore?

I am planning on moving to BLR next year, most likely in Feb but definitely before the first quarter. The plan is to stay for a year to network amongst the startup crowd. I wanted to know where I could bunker down for a year which is closer to such places and won't break my bank. I'll be living alone so anything from 1RK to 1BHK would work.
