Whatever does not kill your, makes you stronger. Stay Strong 💪
I am suffering just like every mid and senior associate now. There seems to be no light at the end of tunnel. Work pressure has tripled since account headcount has been reduced by almost 35% and all work redistributed.
Along with it regular mails from TD about learning hours, hackathon. The ploy is to push people out. Clear threats are being given in All Hands meet if you say no to anything immediately fluidity list update.
But I have strong hope, if I escape this layoff I will emerge stronger. Never ever join any account which is controlled from your non home region. Because people will be biased.
Also most networking in TCS is useless. Senior leadership themselves saving their backside and randomly updating Fluidity with genuine technical people
Never ever take up non billable role like Project Manager. Low dependency roles like QA, Scrum Master also should be not taken or taken only for short term survival.
Limit loans. No cars or big flats with EMI. I am sure this will change a lot of IT sector crowd mindset and this will help us be more resilient.
