What would you do if you got sometime off from work?

Lets say you got 1 month off your work, without having to worry about timelines or leave balance or anything. A simple carefree break. What would you do during this time?

This. Underrated but gold. Simple stuff like this resets the nervous system.

I would exactly do this for the last 10 days but in the first 20 days if money is not an issue I will go to some motorsporting event and for a Trek to a decent high mountain to get that realistic feel of climbing higher and higher although it gets tougher and tougher.

I had a chance to do something like this last year for 15 days. It was a longggg trip in Karnataka. No laptop and mostly no network. Did so much, did ricer rafting, jungle stays, scuba in murudeshwar, visited temples, traveled in local buses or hitchhiking and treks. Best was Gokarna beach hostel stay. Met so many bikers. Best trip of my life.

At any point in the trip, did you ever need to rent a bike or car to travel around? How much can we manage with public transport and hitchhiking? Also how do you approach the rafting locations and jungle stays? I am planning a trip like this early next year but I have no idea lol

I have been out of work for 4 months now. I am using this opportunity to take care of my health and mind. Slow mornings, indulging in hobbies, developing professional skills, working on a passion project, exercising, learning new things...

As you said carefree break. I personally will catch up on things i sacrificed for this break, like slow mornings, aimless strolling in gardens or hikes, cycling around city, catching up with friends and family.
