What would happen if I switch in just 4 5 months being a freshie?

Just got a job Offcampus... With an okayish pay... Good work culture + wfh as far as I have heard... But currently my parents are constantly pressurising me to look for another job. I don't want to currently I am done giving interviews. So that's why I was thinking of switching after 4 months.

I would love to stay here for long time but the pay is the problem. I am just in a regret that my one of my offer got revoked which was actually with a good enough pay and now I have to settle with this one.

But I am feeling bad to even think that I am gonna switch in just 4 5 months. I will be treated as a fresher only in the market... How is it going to affect my career if I switch early?

Pay would be the only motivation to switch, people here are quite okay well mannered non toxic. NP 2 months

I dont think it will affect your future prospects. As this is your first job, you may as well not show it and respond in interview saying that your compus placement offer got revoked and now you are looking for a fresh job.

Also, if you want to show your current job, clear mention that you are not getting paid as per the work that you are doing. Or that you want to shift to a new city like blr or ncr because that's where the future is.

All the best for search.

Switching jobs in 4-5 months can make you look unstable to future employers. If pay is the only issue, consider negotiating a raise or gaining more experience before switching. Balance immediate needs with long-term goals.

They only give raise upto 12% max. My salary is less than 6 LPA. I would have stayed here for 1 year max but I am under the pressure of switching... What reason I would give to HR or hiring manager that's what I am wondering 🥲
