No. C3B QVP will be 45% and hike percentage will be between 0 - 4% irrespective of Band

Ok I am laughing reading the comments. Seems it's not worth, however one thing you may want to consider in case you will stick around for some time is the impact on promotion to C4, where hike is decent I think at least around 20%. Late C3B means late C4. Choice is still yours whether or not to ask for it.

Hike will be 15% but the QVA component in your salary structure will increase. Effective QVA paid for C3A and above is generally around 50%
So, no net increment in in hand salary

I echo with everyone, cons are more here after promotion.. on paper your CTC may look good but in hand it will remain same and expectations from you will increase.

As per my understanding it's not worth at all. Expected hike will be around 14% in which there will be a good amount tagged under Variable Pay.

Currently in c3a I'm getting around 63% qvp but based on my sources, the qvp in c3b is always less than 40%. In effect you ll have a lesser layout when you compare annually and with more responsibilities

Dont go for promotion , at least for C3A you will get 55-60% QVA but for C3B is always 30 to 40% , so getting promotion is no use
