My manager said I will be getting promotion this quarter And I don't want to ask/ follow him up continuously till when papers will roll out? I heard many of them already received promotion letters

It’s done. Maybe your didn’t go through. What it means is even though yiur manager may have given your name , in final list under yiur dm you may be ranked Lower than others. So they would have removed lowers ranked guys for now. But you can keep pestering so that atleast next quarter you will gets
