What went wrong with BookMyShow today?

Is BookMyShow tech team really this incompetent? The whole website/app crashed multiple times today - are they really running a monolith for a ticketing app in today's day and age?

Any newbie will have a better architecture design for their app, how does such a big company mess this up so badly? Any insiders/tech expert povs here?
