What to expect in the Amazon Applied Scientist interview?
I had the initial recruiter call for Applied Scientist 2 role with Amazon recruiter in which HR shared there will questions on science breadth , depth etc. However, not very detailed on what to expect. Can anyone familiar with AS interviews share what to expect in phone interview as well as in the onsite?
I had the interview for Amazon ML breadth. It's a technical deep dive into one past project in terms of architecture, choices (30 mins).
Further, there is ML trivia in which questions that I received were on Likelihood, Optimizers, Data imbalance, Bias variance tradeoffs, Transformers, KL divergence, Statistical tests, P value , Deep dive into CNN, how kernels, pooling layers and Dropouts work during feedforward- backprob-inference, U Net, Faster RCNN, Pose estimation , Quantizations , Stride, Feature Selection, AB testing
It is very team dependent honestly
