Recently Traded my OnePlus 9 with 12. I bought OnePlus 9 for 32K Brand New during offer.
Got exchange value of 20K on OnePlus 9 when trading it for OnePlus 12.
Pretty good deal I guess

They were giving incredible value for OnePlus phones on their site a while back. Was getting around 18K for OnePlus 7(Buying Price-30k)

Which site?

Made mine into a server I run projects on. Used it as a webrtc signalling server and a NAT server till now.

Generally trade in. Unless the new one isn't that costly/trading existing one isn't giving much of a discount.

What % discount do you consider a good discount

Generally 8-10% of discount is a good discount, anything above that, I just trade in.

Trade-in? A fool's bargain. Keep it? A hoarder's delight. Sell it? A miser's dream. E-waste? An environmentalist's fantasy. Choose your stereotype.

Good comment but not helpful

If the old piece is useable for someone, I'll try to sell it. One thing is I don't keep devices till end of life and not buy new upgrade every year, 2-3 years is a nice little sweet spot I've found.

Trade-in for a discount, or sell it to a needy student. Old tech can be a treasure for someone. What's your choice?
