What to do when you feel stuck and no opportunities in sight?

I am currently working as a Content expert in an edtech company in India. This company is different from others like Zyju’s or tuemath, with zero toxicity and decent WLB, which is the only thing that’s kept me in this role for the past 3 years or so. Four years ago, when I decided to not get into tech roles after my graduation, I had naive ambitions of contributing to education and making a difference and after all this time where I did learn a lot in the early years, now it’s just monotonous work to get more traffic to our website and in the process I feel I am not utilising my potential of great communication(and voice), decent tech aptitude to the fullest. I say this because here I have almost automated all the things for other Content people and myself and I have always been complimented for my voice and won several debates/GD’s etc. Also, the pay is, let’s say nothing to write home about.

I have been considering doing graduate studies in the US in CS, but need a funded Masters or Phd. Since, shifting to a tech role in India sounds like it will be really not where you will get to learn a lot and mostly will have to self learn. So, I am considering moving to the US. But, since that is not working out for some time now it’s giving me anxiety and I don’t want to continue in this role but leaving it is not that great of a decision from a financial or market point of view.

Any advice or suggestions will be truly welcome.
