I was working as head of data science and analytics for a small startup , today the role was made redundant and i told to go . I would be getting few months of salary . I am 45+ i dont know what to do , i applied for jobs in conglomerate like walmart , tesco aa director data science but could not clear rounds . I applied to many companies as director without any success . I think my career is over , i dont know what to do entire day , its very very depressing . I will not get a next job
Hey! Sorry that it has happened with you. But I don’t think your career is over. Market is tough and at your level, the number of openings will be even far less.
Just assess the jobs, if there is any gap between the supply and the demand. And sit tight. It will be alright.
