What to do???? BA or developer?

Hi all I'm a fresher who just joined as a business analyst. I'm a bit confused as to whether I should move into a coding role or if I should stay here.

  1. Should I move into a coding role asap or should I stay here, gain experience and then move into a coding role?

Why I'm talking about experience is, I plan to move into this kind of role (BA) in the future, if I find out I'm not set out for coding.

I like this role (BA) and I feel like I'd make a good fit in the role. I want to try to explore other roles and see if I'd be able to manage it, because in the future I don't want to think about it and regret ("I should've worked a bit more harder and went into coding")

  1. Is it easy to move into coding after being a BA for a couple of years?

  2. Right now they'll take me as a fresher with just one aptitude test and a leetcode round. But in the future if I come with an year of BA experience, will the interview process change and will they expect me to know more?

  3. Also if I stay in coding, will I have to be a pro to get promoted into higher roles? Because I don't think I can keep learning and keep up with coding for ever. My idea is to work in coding for a few years and then move out into some field with no coding.

I'm not sure. Please give your opinions too.
