Trending @Accenture; What skills are Considered and added in Accenture Workday

Is the only way to add skills is through Mycompetency and Any Professional Certification? If I do courses in Plural sight will they be added? Similarly for courses in Workday learning ?

First of All,

Is myCompetency important - Yes Does higher proficiency matters - Yes

So don't lose focus on higher proficiency

Now you need to understand purpose of myCompetency, the questions are direct reflection of your talent, just keep aside the fact that few people cheat to get higher proficiency, but also note 2 people were caught and fired too.

Now PluralSight or anything similar tests don't add weightage as they are kinda open book tests

Don't rely on your bonding with leads for appraisal with lower proficiency, he also needs fact to support your case

Just for example let's say therr is 1 promotion slot and 2 contenders, then data for both will be compared and person with P4 proficiency will get first opportunity compared to P3.

Given there are fewer slots now days not only higher proficiency but also add professional certification in your kitty.

Don't count on PluralSight, coursera or skillsoft

As long as you are a good resource and managers have trust in you, its not a problem.

I have been in Accenture for 3 years but didn’t add any skills. My work screams my skills.

These skills and trainings don’t matter. Just do the compliance trainings and that’s enough.

Also, can you please guide me where can I do AWS or similar certifications ? I heard we can do that in accenture but I am not sure where to find the links and other info.
