Trending @Accenture; What should I do?

I’ve been working on a project for more than a year, which requires us to come to the office 4-5 days a week. Initially, there was a lot of learning, but recently I have been assigned to a team where there is no learning at all. I’m thinking of asking my manager for a roll-off so I can have time to study for a switch and GRE. I have a few questions:

1. What should I say when they ask why I want a roll-off?
2. I joined in December 2022. Will being rolled off from the project hamper my default promotion, which should happen at the end of this year?
