What should be the ideal salary to live comfortably in Banglore city?

As 3.5 yoe with current 9.25 in Strategy - Pune location ( without MBA) what should I expect in banglore?

This is tricky. It all depends on what u want to do with your earnings.

If you have Own house. No debt, Single then 12-14Lakhs is fine.

If you are single without any responsibility, you can live and enjoy decently with 50-60K in hand.

With more you can save, add luxury.

Folks earning less than 1 lakh a year are living comfortably thanks to the amazing policies of the Karnataka Government....I am sure you won't have any trouble as a Software Engineer living comfortably in Bengaluru (It's not Banglore)
