Seriously guys who is voting above 50, like kuch bhi?

I have 5 36 lpa

5 yrs of experiance 36 LPA? Which technology stack in Data and Analytics?

I am into strategy and analytics post mba

1 cr - option nahi ?

I thought initially 75+ LPA was higher side but by looking poll I think I should have put that option which I missed.

Guys who are voting below 75 lacs, do you really think that after working 12 years in an industry you still are deserving less than 75 lacs PER ANNUM? Even if I open a small shop and run it for 12 years it will give more income than this. I understand some people might not be aiming for the top, but how do you justify getting average middle class salary for so long, I would just leave the industry if I get such cards... I firmly believe that anyone should be able to get at least >50LPA in this case!!!

I had offers of 40L+ Salary+ Stock offers, for 6.5 yrs experience last year.
But higher up positions and salary require excellent problem solving & critical thinking+ statistics skills, which only 5-10% are able to crack - saying this since I was on the other side of the table, hiring and building teams from ground up & after taking 300+ interviews overall across companies.

A simple median Data Analyst job for 12 yrs for an avg. person, I would say ~40LPA.
Pay doesn't necessarily increase with yrs of experience but the value a person is bringing to the table. One should be able to provide 2X-3X the value of their CTC to the company. If not, years of experience doesn't matter. I have rejected profiles with 10+ yrs of experience for 15-20LPA roles too.

In Flipkart with this is closer to 55-60 I guess . But one needs to have strong problem solving and statistics apart from tools understanding to get this though

Your CTC should be what your capabilities are and the work you deliver.

If a 3 year exp can have a salary 35LPA So 12 should be more

3 yrs exp have 35 LPA? Are kidding ?

Can one switch to data engineering from analytics? How easy/difficult would it be?

I am at 6 yrs and 30 lpa devops
