What should be my fair salary ask?

I have 15+ years of experience. I have to appear for an in person interview with a family ofc led Rs.250Cr+ fund. The position is of a Principal managing the fund and portfolio, building the team...all in Mumbai. Please suggest.

0.5% of portfolio value as base salary when you begin and then a slice of the delta gained every year - 10% of profits, with a high watermark.

Is it going to be a big team? Overall costs should be in the 2.5% to 3%range to manage the fund.
