I have 2 years, 10 months and 9 days of experience as a java developer at TCS, now i have an interview scheduled for another day company XYZ, my CTC in tcs was 4.1 lpa and company XYZ the CTC range for Senior Software Engineer role is around 13 to 18 lpa ( I got to know this internally, HR didn't tell me this ).
Also, My skills and experience are a perfect match with the job description.
So when HR ask me about my expected CTC, what should be my range so that I may not end up asking very less than I could get. Also, it could not be an unrealistic number.
What range should I give ? 9 to 12 is fine? Or any suggestions would help me a lot...
Note - Notice Period - Immediate and I personally know the manager of the team I am going to join (if hired) in XYZ company but I don't know HR personally.
