I used to hack on linux (arch and later fedora) but then I needed to do some visual studio stuff so I left fedora and now using kali with winkex (for graphical interface), I also have an account on brother's mac mini so sometimes I use it over VNC. Windows is the daily driver. Aside from these, I work for a company that provides ubuntu/windows workstation over vmware horizon. I use ubuntu on that workstation.

nah, I didn't like arch much. I love fedora though. Used to have i3 but since I shifted to gnome, it is now quite a decent operating system. No more broken updates, packages nor gui issues.

Windows is actually snappier than Mac if u have a decent ssd and decent RAM. The opinion that windows is slow is mostly due to people running sata hdds and 4gb ram
