What’s with HRs calling for job opportunity and asking why are you looking for a switch

it's a screening question disguised as a conversation starter. they want to know if you're running away from a bad manager or running towards a better opportunity. your answer tells them how to frame the role to you. it's not a question for you, it's a data point for them.

Ask them if they're looking for a switch, and you can refer them to your company
