New here but I’ve been an active Reddit user
Has to do with being myself and just sharing my thoughts without having to think much (vs all other social platforms where I literally end up overthinking before even putting up a story)

Can’t agree more. Free from being attached to your identity, brings the creative best from you.

100% the same thing here. I don’t want all my linkedin connections seeing a bunch of my opinions.
There’s a lot of freedom in anonymity. Allows for SIGNIFICANTLY faster and more free communication

The option isn't there: Have to be politically correct at work and other public forums. Real thoughts can get you fired and doxxed quickly

Alright I think many people are hinting at something similar to “Fear of consequences” which I haven’t added as an option.

My company is a left-leaning US based organisation that could likely fire me if my politically incorrect shitposting attempts at being funny got attributed to me
But lately i am not that scared of getting fired; might be a good thing for me in the short run atleast so idk, I don’t have that much concerns about my anonymnity

I wish I had put an option. “Fear of consequences”.

I'm okay with my own personality. It's just that others may seem to hold that against me. Maybe they are hiring saints 🤷🏻

That’s “Fear of being judged”. In order to survive in this society, we must conform to societal rules.

No I don't think that's that. Fear of being judged would to be act all saint, all perfect and make generic LinkedIn content.
I meant that some 'professionals' do not behave like they should and try to gain leverage from someone's personal opinions in circumstances where they are irrelevant.

I can offend as many as I can without an inch of backlash or you can call it "being at your creative best"

Having an anon Twitter is such a quality of life improvement. After reddit, I just cant use any social network without being anon.

Simply because people from my org are here and they will identify me!

All the options are so cool
