What’s the natural progression to guys who work in RFP responses.

Doing all kinds of non technical stuff and yet earning decently at the start of there career may be because of their fancy b-school degree, what would there career be say after 10 years, knowing nothing in technology front and just sticking to some PPTs. Any thoughts how one should look at their career prospects ..!
