Was looking them up as they were a product I thought had a lot of scope. But off late when I thought of them, couldn’t find any news or updates about what the team is upto? What is happening with the product? What’s up with the rebrand?

Why? The product makes so much sense from a long term horizon.
Target audience was non decision maker, teens and the amount of transactions would be limited and people giving the autonomy to transact was only upper middle or rich and most of them operate on cash as they have lots of black and unaccounted money.
Afaik they were having money problems + had no business model. People in top posts mostly resigned and left and moslty lower/mid level employees stayed (and silent layoffs ofc)
Niche market they're in GMV wise compared to other fintechs. They can always introduce other products for different revenue streams.
I was a part of the company for a short time and everything felt like a scam!
The team, product, leadership, everything was comically chaotic and no one knew what they were really doing.
I am surprised they are still up and running.
Quite curious about this once well funded startup., backed by sequoia , elevation and all.
They recently launched Namaspay for foreigners.
They should still have millions of $$$ and can pivot if needed.
One of the founding members is M.I.A. for the last 2 months and there is absolutely 0 communication on this from the founders side. So much for transparency. So many people have already left and everyone who is currently working is also ...
