Yes many laterals have joined above 25L at JL6. In fact many folks who quit and joined back have taken back as JL6. If they would have been in infy the would never been promoted to Jl6. For most laterals I am seeing they are doing individual contributor roles at JL6B . They are taken at that level to accommodate the high salary during COVID
Not sure what to say but hope we understand the importance of Human intelligence before taking such tyrannical decisions before preaching others on AI.
Performance based outcome is what is surely needed else this institute will be a railway platform where people will hop in and out as passengers, and few will be there as station staff cleaning their mess and managing passenger service.
