I think it was just the uniqueness at the time of launch. The emojis etc. Also there weren't too many apps like that at the time

To start, the favourite for me was Inbox by Google. The best email client I’ve had on a phone - was just so easy to use with such a neat UIUX. That was the last time I was able to maintain my inbox completely clean.
