For juniors (less than 5 YOE), 80% hike is realistic
So they will vote for 80%
But if you cross 5-6 YOE, getting 80% hike in today's world is difficult for majority people.
Yes, there would be exception to this.
Ideally 40-60% hike during switch is great and realistic.
Minimum 30% hike should be there while switching.

I went from 8.3 to 24
How did you negotiate 200% hike ?

Depends on your current CTC. For someone with 4 LPA 100% hike is good. But for someone with 40 LPA even 20/25% is good. So it's completely subjective.
Also your tech, YOE, it's service based or product based or a startup all of it matters

Switched in may, >100%. I think it is more possible for <4-5 yoe people. More the current compensation, lesser the % hike on switch

My colleague got a 70+ % hike with in company. Switched from one team to another at 11 YOE..
so don't believe any cap, any ceiling.. it's all demand and supply

Highly subjective, depends on, prior relevant experience , current level, city and seniority of role...in no particular order
