No retention budgets in most units currently. At end depends on how critical you are for the project/ engagement or how easily replaceable you are. Role changes give you 10-20%
No retention hike?
Retention hike is not a god given right. If the feel you were anyways not critical and someone can easily do your work. They will not do anything. On other hand if you go to them and say you are willing to stay back for 10-15% the may agree to it. But if you are critical they can go way higher. I have known a case to get 50% hike during COVID. But off late there is no budgets for retention hike so would depend on your timing and criticality
It should be depending on your manager also, he has a right to either offer you retention % or just let you go.
I got offered 50 percent retention hike.
