What next in networking domain?
Hi.. my friend is working as a senior NOC engineer in Bangalore with 7 YOE.
Since it is NOC role, he's in a rotational shift. I have the below doubts which even he's not sure of.

is there any networking related role which will be mostly with general shift? If yes, what are the skills needed? Or post which level we can reach that position?

what next from here? I have asked him to do CCNA certification since it is basic, post which he will be doing CCNP. What are the worthy certifications that can be done which will boost up his resume and career?

he's not aware of scripting like bash and also no coding knowledge. Is it mandatory to possess coding skills to survive in this field? If not, is there any other role path that can be chosen in this networking field?
