I know people who are promoted from 9 to 10 takes 6 years, so don't rely on MAL they don't consider any

In Accenture it all depends how is your reputation in front of your DU lead. In my case I got promotion in 2 year, because my DU lead was my Sutta partner.

If your DU lead doesn't know you, then only strong client/supervisor feedback can help you. I realised MAL is not that important.
