What kind pathetic reason to not give A band
I have received B band after working hard for whole year. When I have asked manager for the reason he states that they have raised for H1B visa, which if I haven't asked them to raise. So they haven't given me A . My application was not even picked in the lottery. Now manager is saying he can't revise your band So will try next year. Now I am little worried he is going to give the same reason NXT year by raising the H1B application again not sure what to do.
So tell me about the reasons you have received for not getting A
Only the manager's favourite or boot lickers will get A band. Rest all have to suck their thumb and think what went wrong.
A band is limited. So if there is only 3 A bands decided for a project and there are 5 deserving candidates, only 3 of them will get A band and rest deserving people will get B.
Generally in a support project you will get B or C band.
Also on-site employees getting A band is very rare.
3 consecutive A bands is also very rare.
The same happened with me I have worked really hard and also did support at onshore timings. Also many times they have assigned me, my teammates work and i have completed that aswell. Because I am not RTO compliant, i didn't ask. Because I know they will surely give me the same RTO reason.
Don't hesitate in asking. No one knows what works. Don't lose hope
Please change the company and don't think too much about the process is same every service based company

They say all N no of reasons. I asked my manager what is the yardstick for A/B/C there should be some points right ? Please explain me... simply saying there are N no fo things that will be validated so we will discuss. Till now I haven't got a clear output for this.
Last year they said they need to complete the T factor > 1.99 should be maintained,process improvement should be submitted, Contextual Master should be done etc etc this time all did but still B & no answer what is lacking for band A.
Same reason they will give next year as well , same happened with me as well
He will say will raise for Canada , sure you will get visa next year and keep you in project until visa gets expire

Is it dependent on manager or higher levels like they will be considering c1,c2,c3a for whole unit then giving b or a?
