My in-hand income is 75k and Iโ€™m paying 20k for a single room in Whitefield. This doesnโ€™t even include utilities which cost extra.

Yeah itโ€™s a lot but itโ€™s an awesome gated society close to my office so I put up with it

Well its kinda both, 17k in rent 160k per month after taxes. It is a 1bhk flat, not furnished but the location is too good.
