Do not leave the existing job and continue the company as a side hustle for 1-2 years. But ensure product market fit is analysed.

Don’t you get into conflict of interest issue with current employer? As most Indian companies having the employment clause as you cannot do anybody other work beyond the company.

Angel funding is not that difficult to get. So don't make it any kind of benchmark to quit a job or start up.
