one thing i can say for sure - majority of the people who voted/will vote for farming have never set foot in the field, living in mountain/village have never lived in either one.....

It's true my uncle is an RBI Grade C manager. He's past 40 now. What a peaceful life no hustle no tension free on weekends more time to explore life and family. No fear of layoffs. He's getting 2.5 LPM and his wife is a RBI grade B manager in the same office. They both are living the typical dream life of crores of Indians.
Government job (not bank) with 1L salary. I'm happy to live a typical boring life, instead of having high salary and tension all life of getting fired and opening laptops on weekends as well. Decent salary with peace matters.
