What is wrong with Flipkart (Product Manager)
Adding a random feature is creating more trouble than ease..Today I saw a random order in my order section..which I didn't place...got panicked about how something was ordered from my account. Then I saw a tag "shared by jageshwar kumar"..The weird part is I don't know anyone by this name...How can someone randomly share an order with me without basic approval (like an okay button)..And on top of that customer support is not at all helpful..in a span of 10 mins 4 different support executives talked with me who were unable to understand this..
This feels like an invasion of privacy. And imagine the length of issues it can cause to female users by people sending random orders...
I hope going forward in the name of the new feature, Product Manager doesn't create issues instead they come up with better features or better guardrails.
It's actually a very good feature. I understand your concern, someone probably gave the wrong number in the "share order details" section.
I'm surprised this feature made it to prod 😂
