Trending @Accenture; What is wrong with Accenture management??????

Ever since this WFO thing started, I had been showing up and following the policy. But from the second week of March, I fell seriously sick and had to be hospitalized, so I came back home. I’ve been in no condition to work since then.

On 24th March, I was automatically assigned to a project. I explained my health situation to them, and they rolled me off on 8th April. Since then, I’ve been trying to reach out to my supervisors, manager, people lead, HR, HRP—basically everyone I could—just to ask if I can take an extended leave. It's only been 5 months since I joined Accenture, and I don’t even know the policy clearly. I marked my mails as high priority, but no one responded.

Meanwhile, because I’m on the bench, I keep getting calls for new projects. I’ve been rejecting them because honestly, I can’t work right now. I even considered resigning, but how do I do that when I’m too unwell to even serve a one-month notice?

And now today, I got another hard lock mail with new supervisor details.

I don’t know what to do. I’m genuinely confused and tired. It’s hard enough dealing with my health, and not getting any response is making it worse. Can someone please guide me or just tell me what I should do?

Just send out an email to bench poc and hr. That’s it . Keep it for your reference. They will themselves reach out to you. Ignore hard lock or soft locks. If they didn’t talk to you before locking it is not your problem. And if you want to resign, do it and take rest at home

How can we know who is bench POC and HR? @SafeStorm7

Please check your workday, it must be mentioned there about your HR

What do you mean by you cant work rn…

Would you answer the same if you were given that question before relaesing your offer letter ?

When I said I can’t work, I meant my health is that bad. I’m not just tired or stressed—I’ve been hospitalized three times in 5 months. I can’t even sit up properly some days, let alone function like a full-time employee. So yeah, I can’t work right now.

And about your second question—do you really think I’d have said yes to the offer if I knew this was coming? I was excited, I had plans, I wanted to grow. But I didn’t sign up to be this sick. I didn’t expect the place I moved to would wreck my body so much that I’m scared I might never fully recover. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have touched that offer letter, no matter how good the opportunity was.

For your second reply - since you think you wouldnt have touched the offer knewing this was the situation, whats holding you to resign ?

You consider yourself as on leave...

Who wants a work from you they will reach you at that time explain it to them and if they question why you have not informed show your previous emails

I have been doing that, so they are continuously rolling me on and off from projects and bench. It's getting stressful considering my situation.

@EarlyWedding37 Have you tried resigning on Workday? If you type ‘RESIGN’ in workday search, you’ll get an option to resign formally. Your notice period starts from the day you resign. And HR responsible for handling your exit will reach out to you by herself/himself. During the notice period, do exactly what you are doing right now. Get well soon.

Ohhh, thank you. I actually did not have the knowledge that I had the option to resign without my supervisors approval 😅

Ok, got side tracked for a bit due to those off track and creepy comments from @InbornCriteria67. But please let me know, if someone has any information regarding how to get this resignation over with as fast as possible when no one is replying to my mails. Thank you for your help in advance.
