
But they can't give an underperforming rating directly..there is a process first you have to go through NI rating then HR will ask you to put down paper...in case u will not put down paper after NI and hr discussion then HR will give u underperforming

Sorry sir that is not the case. UP is the lowest rating. NI is above that. In NI they will give you option to go through PIP. In UP they will ask you to leave with 3 months salary. No choices. And this time they have forced managers to give at-least 3–5% UP. Another 3-5% will not accept their NI and quit. So a quick and silent layoff of 6-10% of the folks
