Trending @Accenture; What is this nonsense "underpaid" trend going on!
I see the grapevine Accenture community is flooded with an "underpaid" post. This is a BS way to flex salary π
With my 8 years of experience in startups, mid sized and big MNC, I can say that the salary depends upon the technical and non tech abilities of an individual. I have a few of my friends earning 2x than what I am earning that doesn't make me underpaid. They are more capable and moreover seized the correct opportunities.
Stop this BS please.π₯²

I donβt think anyone here is really flexing
Itβs just a way to understand what fair and what isnβt
I feel it can be helpful

Being underpaid is real, maybe you don't have enough capability but that doesn't mean no one else has. Also, considering the average starting package and hike for lower level employees vs leadership level for the last 15-20 years, there is a lot of difference, especially in MNC. Stop justifying this BS. Period.

I do lack that sort of capability for sure but not whining like you in a social media platform. Rather working to reduce my flaws π people who have the proper skill set to go the extra mile already left the company.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but you're the one who started the post, therefore whining. Height of hypocrisy! If you can't accept an opinion which is contradictory to yours, probably you shouldn't start a post on social media. Peace out.

This is wrong. You can't generalize it. Do you really think Accenture offers same salary to every people with same skill set and delivering similar results ? I have been associated with the company for 9 years and have seen multiple laterals having same skill set delivering equal to less value than what i am offering and to whom i have trained but still paid higher salary than me . ( The value offering is not something out of my mind but something my leads have accepted as well )

Depends on tier 1 college and all those things here. I was bound to hire a fresher from IIT on 17 lpa although he doesn't have a clue about anything. I have few very good resources in my team for whom I am always fighting to give them promotions and better hikes. That is the way most of these India based companies work,it's a bitter truth.

Seriously you don't think Accenture is underpaying π You might have not seen people struggling with work and other bullshit we have to go through to get some recognition and promotion. Even though some of the people just do half the work and get promoted just because they are managers pet. This makes me to think that I am underpaid. Forget about friends across other companies, think about the one we are in. You can never convince yourself that you are good among this environment

Yes I do think Accenture is underpaying and very biased but posting the same thing online will increase the amount? Moreover I always believe if you're facing issues to sustain, leave from hell hole and move on.

I didn't know leadership joined grapevine too, real id se aao leadership, and don't you think if same thing is posted by everyone many of them are having feeling and going through same conditions, they are making everyone work extra hours and paying less , you need to understand organization is not your friend or family. Just because of this recession people didn't switch, but yeah everyone has started to look outside now, accenture has picked this strategy of not firing and not paying enough so employees leave by own so their firing reputation is safe.

Not from leadership bruhπ can't come from real I'd as grapevine doesn't permit. Whatever you said I agree as I am doing the same but let's cut the BS,posting the same shit will not help right! No one can say that they know everything technically so let's move on achieving more.

In order to flex it we need to have our actual names been displayed then only it will call a FLEX otherwise it's just a random person sharing his salary. Do think about it

In reddit also people don't come by using their actual name but posts the same BS. Sorry if my perspective somehow hurts you but it is what it is.
