Trending @Capgemini; What is the worst thing that happened to you here?
I was in this project last year where they did not give any work until 2 weeks before project completion. We were literally sitting idle for hours at office. But as soon as those 2 weeks began OMG!! They used to force us to sit for more than 9-10 hours. You could not ask for WFH and they would not let us leave when we entered the building. The only good thing was that company provided food and cab facility.
I had NEVER worked after 5 or 5.30 max
I NEVER entertained calls or even messages after 5.30
One day my b×××× a×× manager calls me when I'm at office literally packing to leave and says I want this HUGE task done EOD
My lead was on leave so the arch did the review and it was a HUGE PR over 60 files
Architect did the review with a bunch of comments
I worked on few which broke a million test cases so worked on those till 10.30PM IN THE OFFICE
LEFT A MESSAGE IN THE GROUP SHARING THE STATUS AND LEFT
Next morning the reviewer asks what all are pending I'm not able to understand from the PR
This B×××× calls me and says "You didn't do anything. I didn't expect this from you" like wtf did you not expect you dumb ct that I stayed till 10.30 in the night IN THE OFFICE SACRIFICING MY EVENING?
I tell her that and b**** was like I saw you were not online you didn't even inform the status
I told her look at the PR and commit times pull up office swipe in and swipe out and check the cameras too and I also told her I shared the status to which she said no, then made me share my screen and show her the message
F**** ego maniac didn't want to apologise so still continues to say I didn't expect this from you I told you to finish right
Like b* I'm not a f**** genie that you say something and it'll just happen in a click of a finger
Then at last she says the most ret@rded dumbest sh!t I've heard "I want you to give more than 100%"
Like b**** why the f*** will I even in normal conditions? The audacity of this b*** to ask me that after accusing me and insulting me
This same b**** when I interviewed for this job I asked for 14LPA and recruiter agreed and at the last moment this same b*** made it 13.5 take it or leave it
This hypocritical b**** didn't even give 100% of what i had asked but wants me to give more than 100%
I swear to God it ruins my whole f****in day every time I think about it

DCX DYNAMICS & SALESFORCE
I agree. DCX has lot of dynamics. I heard other BUs are good. But DCX is the worst. Very partial and hypocratic
yes. No relevant project, on bench and also not allowing a few to pursue projects selected for in other bu/domain, whereas they have allowed some others for the same. only happening in dcx afaik.
I have raised my concern in 2022 on our lead as she does not have leading skills and hence work was getting distributed with partiality. Our manager did not help as she(lead) is helping him on his work and stopped my variable pay and hike by assigning me to PIP. I never expected this cheap culture from Capgemini and very disappointed.
Some days ago I asked my manager to change my work location. He agreed with it. But the staffing team has a problem with it, as i am not billable yet, even after working 9-10 hours per day sometime sat - sun. The staffing team had a meeting with me and lectured me, you were on bench from last 1 year, we barely managed to get a project for you and insted of focusing on work you are thinking about your family problems and want to relocate. Like dude, your company doesn't have projects to begjn with, is it my fault that you kack projects, did i say i want to stay on bench and do not work. Everyone has family as their priority, you f***g nutsack. As for the billability and project, it's your job to give me these things.
You lack projects, no defined policies. When employee ask( which is their right), you have problems with it. You fucking sucker.
